Audio: GoPro & Cell

Most customers find the audio coming from their GoPro or other action camera works very well, but a portion of our family of customers want better audio and and are here to help. Most of the equipment you will find here has been used for years by Team YOLOtek in the videos we make. Different cameras require different solutions and YOLOtek is here to help.

External Audio requires 3 steps...

1. Do you want... AUDIO and POWER at the same time?
Do you want better audio and still have constant power? Our customers love YOLOtek gear that provides constant power to their GoPro, VIRB, DJI, Tactacam and other action cameras.... but, don't ya just hate but! The but is that most of the time the camera uses the same USB port for power and audio. (Example: GoPro Hero 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9 all get power from USB-C but also use the same USB-C port for external audio. If you are ok with only having audio while using the internal camera battery, then you can skip steps 2 & 3 and select which audio is right for you.

2. HOW DO I CONNECT AUDIO & EXTERNAL POWER ON MY CAMERA?
The example here is Hero 5, 6 & 7 need a GoPro Audio Adapter (Power/Audio splitter) to plug in external audio and external power at the same time. GoPro Hero 8 & 9 have a GoPro Media Mod. Other action cameras may have their own solution. Check with the camera manufacture or call us.

3. SELECT THE RIGHT AUDIO SOLUTION FOR YOU
